God established His church on
"one accord" power. He told His
disciples to go to Jerusalem until
they were endued with power.
"And when the day of Pentecost
was fully come, they were all with
one accord in one place" (Acts.
2:1). It was then that the Holy
Spirit came upon each one of
them with power that caused
3,000 people to repent and be
added to them that very day!
(See Acts 2.)

Later they gathered and
"...lifted up their voice to God
with one accord…" (Acts 4:24).
They prayed that God would
stretch "...forth thine hand to
heal; and that signs and wonders
may be done by the name of thy
holy child Jesus. And when they
had prayed, the place was shaken
where they were assembled
together; and they were all filled
with the Holy Ghost, and they
spake the word of God with
boldness. And the multitude of
them that believed were of one
heart and of one soul…"
(Acts 4:31-32).

Fall 2010 Prayer Summit
September 24-25, 2010

Discovering the Power of One Accord Prayer

Dear Friend,

I am looking forward to our next Prayer Summit and believe it could have a profound effect upon our participants. Doug Small is President of Alive Ministries and director of Project Pray USA. I heard him last year at a large convention event and was highly impacted by his burden for the lost and his passion for turning our churches into Houses of Prayer.

Please take a moment and review the topics and schedule for our Day of Prayer at the Fall Summit, September 24-25 at New Horizons Community Church in Jackson, Michigan. This day will be devoted to positioning ourselves to reach our communities for Christ by utilizing the power of prayer through strategic prayer networking.

If you are grieved about the State of our Nation, burdened for the lost in your Community, and longing for a refreshed encounter with God...you will not want to miss this event. No amount of strategizing, organizing, or influencing can substitute for the tremendous power available in unified desperate prayer.

Brock Barnhouse, Senior Pastor at New Horizons Community Church of God in Blacklick, Ohio will be our Worship Leader for the Prayer Summit. Brock is a skilled and anointed Worship Leader who will lead us into the Presence of the Lord. He travels extensively leading worship at churches, camp meetings and conventions.

Registration is free; but, we would request that you contact the State Office to register so that the host church will be prepared for the day. While we are declaring this a day of prayer and fasting, fruit, juices and finger food will be available.

Please prayerfully consider making this a priority event. You, Your Church, and Your Community may never be the same.

In Jesus,
Pastor Rick Webb
