Natural Church Development

Ken Wiedrick has been recruiting and training various ministers and lay leaders to take this program to the individual Churches of God in Michigan. Essentially the program has the congregation take a ninety question multiple choice survey. This survey is compared with over 4.2 million surveys already compiled. The results from the survey focus attention on the eight quality characteristics of Natural Church Development. These eight characteristics are:

  1. Empowering Leadership
  2. Gift-oriented Ministry
  3. Passionate Spirituality
  4. Functional Structures
  5. Inspiring Worship Service
  6. Holistic Small Groups
  7. Need-Oriented Evangelism
  8. Loving Relationships

Each congregation is then told which area to focus their attention to provide both church growth and continual spiritual incline of their members.
